FCA's formation was inspired by the resilience of underserved families, and their determination to provide for their families and achieve their goals. FCA's founder, a long time resident of the city of Boston and immigrant from La Paz, Bolivia, had explored a variety of roles at both non-profit and for-profit organizations throughout his career and in 2008 he decided to reapply his experience toward a new mission. Thus, FCA was formed.
